NEW TRACK BY D ROSE GOLD FT. VICCI VET FEEL GOOD SUMMERTIME
D Rose Gold was born in Stamford Ct in 1983. While in Connecticut he moved from developments, and housing projects that never allowed him to know any childhood friends for long. He was bounced back and forth between his Granmother and parents. He witnessed first hand the effects of crack cocaine era due to family members who were heavily involed during the late 80’s and early 90’s. When D Rose’s grandmother became ill and could no longer be his guardian, he was given the option to move a few states down I-95. In 1992 he moved to Baltimore,Md. where he discovered a passion for beat making and rhyming. He began to study the greats and was heavily influenced by Tupac Shakur, Notorious BIG, as well as Snoop and Dr. Dre. While in his junior year in High School, D Rose and his father were evicted from their 2 bedroom apartment forcing him to fend for himself. The eviction caused D Rose to write music about the struggle of being “homeless” and keeping his head up so high that none of his school mates would notice. He worked in fast food and sold narcatics on the side to stay “fresh” and remain sociable. When D Rose finally graduated from High School at Milford Mill Academy, he jumped into the work force. His occupations were not limited, as he did everything from warehouse work to bill collections to make ends meet. He was very determined to become a business owner, he just didn’t quite no what the business would be. Through his woking in every field and dibbling and dabbling in the drug game, he became a very strategic “hustler”. In 2005, while working at a mutual job at a collection agency in Baltimore, D Rose teamed up with Antoine Millard A.K.A Young Vet and formed the label now know as “New More Entertainment”. Since forming the label D Rose has produced over 27 Baltimore classics such as “First Move”, “Out of Your Zone”, “Going Hard”, and “National Inuirer” He also produced the popular mid-west jingle “Holla at Phil” for Phil’ Cycle & ATV in OK. By 2010 D Rose Gold has collaborated with Young Vet to bring the streets of Baltimore the Ep “Been Thru The Fire” and “I Can’t Believe Its Not Butta” which featured the Baltimore Club anthem Friday Night (Produced by “Midas”) . To date D Rose and is label New More Entertainment, has sold over 35,000 units on the streets of Baltimore at Gas Stations, Flea Markets and Events and the units sold grow daily! D Rose feels his label New More Entertainment is obligated to put Baltimore on the map in a most respected position before its all said and done! D Rose is also active in the community as he from time to time, mentors troubled youth with advice based on his expierience in the street world and corporate!
